Lisa Fisher
Front Desk
Lisa has lived and worked in the Northern Neck for the past 40 years. She joined the Lanigan Family Dentistry team in the Fall of 2022 and has been helping to keep things organized and running smoothly ever since! Her favorite part of her job is greeting and getting to know all of our patients.
When she’s not busy keeping our office up and running, Lisa loves spending time outdoors with her husband of 40 years and her three sons. She especially loves spoiling the newest addition to her family – her puppy Woolly!
Charlotte Dull
Registered Dental Hygienist
Charlotte was born and raised here in the Northern Neck. She graduated from Old Dominion University as a hygienist 32 years ago and still thoroughly enjoys getting to know her patients and providing them with the upmost care so they can have teeth that last them a lifetime. She found her way to Lanigan Family Dentistry in December 2022 and with her knowledge and experience we were thrilled to bring her on board!
Outside of work she is busy spoiling her French Bull Dog, Pippa or driving out to Charlottesville to spend time with her daughter.
Amanda Mothershead
Registered Dental Hygienist
Amanda has been a dental hygienist for the past 17 years, graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008. She joined our office in October 2023 and loves being able to meet new people and make a difference in their oral health. Amanda really shines as a hygienist in her attention to detail. She takes pride in giving her patients the best care possible.
She loves spending time near the water fishing, boating or just relaxing with a book. However, most of her free time is spent keeping up a busy house with three kids and her chocolate lab, Emma.
Maddie Baughan
Dental Assistant
Maddie joined us here at Lanigan Family Dentistry in January 2024. Although originally hired as an assistant she caught on so quickly to the computer work that she’s seen most of the time up front. She is friendly and smart and especially good at helping patients navigate the ins and outs of dentistry, from treatment to paperwork.
Maddie loves summertime because it means she can do one of her two favorite things – beaching or boating – with her family, her boyfriend, and her dog Charlie.
Tammy Sisson
Dental Assistant
Tammy has been a dental assistant for 20 years. She joined us in January of 2025 and we are so lucky to have her! She puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows with her boundless energy and compassion for our patients.
She has loved living in the Northern Neck her entire life. Outside of the office she enjoys gardening, repurposing antiques, and of course spending time with her husband Charles, her daughter and her precious grandchildren.
Carol Carr
Registered Dental Hygienist
Carol has been a dental hygienist for 32 years, working for both general dentistry practices and periodontal practices. She joined our office in January 2025. She loves getting to know her patients and especially prides herself on being gentle yet thorough. Growing up her father worked part time as a Charter boat captain, as a result even though she’s from the Shenandoah Valley, she’s been visiting the Northern Neck ever since she was a toddler.
Carol has her captain’s license for a 6 pack charter boat. When she’s not at the office she loves spending time with her fiancé and two dogs on the boat and fishing as often as they can!
Ashleigh Sanford
Dental Assistant
After attending an assisting school in Williamsburg Ashleigh decided to join our team, and we are so happy to have her! She loves being able to help people and her attention to detail makes her especially valuable to our dentistry.
She has lived in the Northern Neck her entire life and when she is not at the office, she is spending time with her fiancé Alex and her Golden Retriever Willow - usually somewhere outdoors!
